For eleven lively days, usually in mid-April, this traveling fair brings light, color, and joy to the local community, as part of the legendary Luna Park Bellinzona/Ticino tour operated by the historic Pellerani family.

Since 1915, the Pellerani family has brought amusement and magic to towns across the Italian and German-speaking regions of Switzerland. Known as Luna Park Pellerani, this iconic traveling funfair has become a cultural tradition in Ticino. What started as a modest collection of rides has grown into a full-fledged amusement experience that makes its rounds through the region’s largest cities — including the beloved annual stop in Tesserete.
Today, the operation is led by Michele Pellerani, born in Lugano in 1958, who continues his family’s legacy of bringing joy to Swiss communities. The Pellerani name has become synonymous with quality entertainment and heartfelt tradition, especially in smaller towns like Tesserete, where the fair is a much-anticipated springtime event.
