Lunapark Funfair is also known as the Scarborough amusement park as it’s located at the end of Scarborough South Bay.
The park is small, but offers enough fun activities for families to enjoy themselves for a few hours. You can take a ride on the octopus, enjoy the view from atop the ferris wheel, compete against others in the bumper cars or enjoy yourself on one of the many other rides. Of course, all good things must come to an end, so once you’re done at the Lunapark Funfair you can enjoy yourself at the beach or wager a try at the amusement arcade.
For those interested in a bit of history, Scarborough castle is located close to Lunapark. Keep in mind that Lunapark Funfair is located near the seaside, so dress appropriately on a windy day.
Entry price and tickets
As with any other Lunapark, you don’t have to pay any entrance fee. You do, however, have to pay per attraction. Prices for each attraction are different, so it’s better to ask the park directly through social media, a phone call or at the park itself.
The Lunapark Funfair is open on weekends all year round. On weekdays, they are open from Easter to September unless they’ve announced otherwise.
