Luna Park Buenos Aires ist auch bekannt als Stadion Luna Park<\/em>, Estadio Luna Park<\/em> oder einfach Lunapark<\/em> unter den Einheimischen.<\/p>\n

Der Luna Park Buenos Aires ist kein Vergn\u00fcgungspark und somit kein Luna Park im herk\u00f6mmlichen Sinne, sondern eine riesige Arena, die mehreren Zwecken dient.<\/p>\n

Er wurde 1910 von dem italienischen Kaufmann Domingo Pace erbaut und diente als offener Stra\u00dfenmarkt. In den 1920er Jahren wurde es bei der Oberschicht sehr beliebt. Gegen Ende desselben Jahrzehnts ging die Zahl der Besucher drastisch zur\u00fcck und viele der Fahrgesch\u00e4fte wurden aufgegeben.<\/p>\n

Der Niedergang dauerte jedoch nicht lange. 1931 wurde der Park vom Sohn des Gr\u00fcnders, Ismael Pace, und Jose Pepe Lectoure, einer Boxlegende, gekauft. Sie benannten den Park um in Estadium Luna Park<\/em> zum Gedenken an die j\u00fcngste Vergangenheit des Parks als Vergn\u00fcgungspark. Die beiden neuen Eigent\u00fcmer planten die Errichtung einer Sportarena, die 1932 er\u00f6ffnet wurde.<\/p>\n

In den folgenden Jahren erf\u00fcllte die Arena ihren Zweck und wurde sowohl bei den Einheimischen als auch bei den Ausl\u00e4ndern sehr beliebt. W\u00e4hrend des Zweiten Weltkriegs wurde sie auch zur Unterhaltung der nationalsozialistischen und faschistischen Verb\u00fcndeten genutzt.<\/p>\n

In den 1950er Jahren begann die Zahl der Besucher wieder zu sinken. Unter dem Druck der Stadt sahen sich die beiden Eigent\u00fcmer gezwungen, neue Einnahmequellen zu erschlie\u00dfen. Sie begannen mit der Renovierung, starben aber beide, bevor diese abgeschlossen war. Die Arena wurde von Lectoures Sohn, Juan Carlos Lectoure, geerbt.<\/p>\n

Juan Carlos Lectoure - auch Tito genannt - machte den Luna Park Buenos Aires zu einem Epizentrum f\u00fcr Musik und Konzerte, insbesondere f\u00fcr die argentinische Rockszene.<\/p>\n

Im Jahr 2007 wurde die Arena zum nationalen historischen Denkmal erkl\u00e4rt. Im Jahr 2013 wechselte der Luna Park Buenos Aires nach dem Tod von Titos Frau Ernestina Devecchi de Lectoure den Besitzer. Die neuen Eigent\u00fcmer waren Sociedad Salesiana de San Juan Bosco<\/a> und C\u00e1ritas Argentinien<\/a>die ein r\u00f6misch-katholischer Orden bzw. eine karitative Organisation ist.<\/p>\n

Heute dient der Luna Park Buenos Aires immer noch als kulturelles Zentrum mit Schwerpunkt auf Konzerten, Spektakeln, Veranstaltungen usw.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
