Den betragtes som den \"originale\" Luna Park og er ogs\u00e5 den mest ber\u00f8mte af dem alle. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oprindelsen af parkens navn er usikker. En teori er, at det blev opkaldt efter et luftskib, som var en af parkens hovedattraktioner. En anden teori er, at den blev opkaldt efter en af grundl\u00e6ggernes s\u00f8ster.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I 1905 \u00e5bnede en rutsjebaneingeni\u00f8r ved navn Frederick Ingersoll to nye Luna Parks i Pittsburgh og Cleveland. I 1907 blev der \u00e5bnet en fjerde Luna Park i Seattle, Washington, af Charles Loof, som ogs\u00e5 var en af grundl\u00e6ggerne af den f\u00f8rste Luna Park p\u00e5 Coney Island.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Senere \u00e5bnede Frederic Ingersoll yderligere 44 Luna Parks rundt om i verden.
